BharathaNatyam is a form of Indian Classical Dance, origins of which can be traced to ancient Sanskrit literature and Temple sculptures. BharathaNatyam has three main aspects to it - Nritta, Nritya and Natya. Arangetram is a graduation performance that is the part of the traditional format - the Margam (path). In Tamil, the word 'Arangetram' literally means climbing the raised stage.
